Recently served in a Fiduciary and Development Oversight capacity of the ownership of the St Regis, Aspen, Colorado property for its’ $42 million renovation. She also served as the Project Executive for Aspen Skiing Company on the $18.6 million renovation of The Little Nell in Aspen, Colorado. The project included the orchestration of the complete re-design, re-construction, procurement and implementation of the 92 room Five Star boutique property. Her responsibilities included the overall direction of the project team to ensure delivery of project objectives on an extremely aggressive design schedule and twelve week construction schedule.
With JLL, was the Senior Project Manager for Host Hotels & Resorts on the $20 million renovation of the Swissotel Chicago. A total of 632 guest rooms were renovated to include the Concierge Lounge and Presidential Suite. Lori directed the day-to-day management of the project and is responsible for the review and control of design and construction status, quality and conformance to standards and coordination with the hotel operations staff and construction team. Her responsibilities also included all project reporting, budgeting, control, document reviews and field verifications to support the project based on the established objectives.
Ms. Horvath was previously the Account Team Lead for McDonald’s Corporation in Oak Brook, Illinois managing the team that coordinated all of the construction projects for the corporate offices in the Greater Chicago area. Additionally, she traveled throughout the country coordinating the site selection, design, construction and relocation of twenty-five regional office facilities.
Prior to joining JLL, she managed the development of a $250 million Casino and Hotel in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. The design and construction of this project was regulated by the Indiana Gaming Commission and demanded construction schedule restrictions for delivery that “fast-tracked” the pace of the development. Ms. Horvath was involved in the Master Planning of the development through all design phases, documentation, construction, and post occupancy phases of the project.
She has been involved in the design, development and management of the several restaurants, some of which are private clubs. She has completed the renovation of the Presidential Suites at the Chicago Hilton. In addition to her hospitality experience, Ms. Horvath has worked with many prestigious corporate clients in developing new headquarters and practices. Ms. Horvath has 19 years of experience in the design, real estate and construction industries focusing on the development, design and construction of complex hospitality/casino, corporate and private clubs of all types.

Ms. Horvath holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Architecture from Michigan State University and is a Professional Member of the International Interior Design Association.
