Michael Suomi has spent 25 years as a director of design at premier hospitality and entertainment design and architecture firms. Currently Principal and Director of Interior Design for Stonehill Taylor in Manhattan, Suomi is both an architect and interior designer who’s award-winning projects include hotels, hospitals, corporate headquarters, restaurants, nightclubs and residences which incorporate custom-tailored furniture, fixtures, and finishes. His narrative design approach and out-of-the-box thinking in the earliest stages result in unique award-winning solutions incorporating both technology and hand-made into their hospitality and F&B projects.
Since it’s founding in 1962, Stonehill & Taylor built it’s reputation on providing a sterling level of service coupled with pristine design to discerning mix of clientele historically in the financial, banking and socialite circles of Manhattan.
