Center for Active Design
Nadine Rachid is a Senior Associate at the Center for Active Design (CfAD) where she leads the content development of Fitwel, the world’s leading certification system that optimizes building design to support occupant health. As part of her role, Nadine translates research into applicable design strategies, and works closely with Fitwel clients to ensure feasibility and impact within the real estate sector. Prior to joining CfAD, Nadine worked as urban strategist and interdisciplinary designer based in New York City with research focusing on issues of urbanization and climate change. Previously, Nadine managed the design and construction of small- and large-scale residential, retail and hospitality projects across the Middle East and Europe.
