Two Roads Hospitality
As Senior Vice President, Design + Development Services, Shirli Sensenbrenner plays an integral role in business development for Two Roads Hospitality, creating a vision for potential acquisitions through programming and budget, as well as repositioning and upgrading the existing portfolio. With over 30 years of experience in both high-end interior architectural design, project management and hotel development, Sensenbrenner has a keen eye for strategy and creative direction, strengthening functionality and improving aesthetics in prospective and operating hotels.
Prior to joining Two Roads Hospitality, Sensenbrenner worked in commercial design where she met the Two Roads team when working on Destination Hotels’ headquarters in 1998. It was then she discovered a passion for hotel design, and her curiosity brought her to the Two Roads team. Since that time, Sensenbrenner has continued to grow her responsibilities, currently serving as a member of the Two Roads Hospitality leadership team as well as a shareholder at Lowe Enterprises. She and her team provide capital expenditure planning, upgrades for newly acquired properties and existing structures, and most importantly, work with owners as they develop world-class hotels that continue to grow and strengthen the Two Roads’ family of brands: Destination Hotels, Joie de Vivre, Thompson Hotels, tommie, and Alila.
Sensenbrenner received her B.A. in Design from the University of Cincinnati, and studied Architectural Theory & History at the University of Texas, Austin.
